Q and A
Empowerment Coaching With Judy
Q. What is difference between coaching, consulting, counseling and communities?
A. While counseling seeks to look back and understand why you do the things you do and consulting tends to be a relationship of giving advice, coaching is a supportive one on one relationship where together we figure out who you are, what you want from life and how you can get there. Communities are small groups who mastermind (similar to brainstorming) on a weekly basis. They are formed of like-minded people who are working on similar projects.
Q. How long does it take to get done?
A. When are we ever done learning and growing? Unlike counseling or consulting, coaching does not focus on past issues but looks forward to a brighter future. When you have the tools and resources to move forward independently or just with a mastermind community, you will know.
Q. Is this like hiring a personal trainer?
A. What a trainer does for the body- helps lose weight, builds up endurance, teaches nutrition and strengthens muscles Empowerment Coaching will do for your soul. Judy will guide you as you restore dreams, accomplish goals, sift through priorities and evaluate your options.
Q. Is coaching covered by insurance?
A. No, but it is an investment in your future.
Q. Why is the personal one on one coaching so expensive?
A. Is it expensive? Judy’s time is very limited (not only by life span but by commitments) and she has so much to share with you. A keynote address for one hour is $3500 to $5000 plus expenses. To have her guidance focused on you is priceless.
Q. Why do I have to have had some one-on-one before I can join a group?
A. Because part of Judy’s intuition is finding the right partners for each community. This way, you will be able to join a forum and master-mind of like-minded and supportive people who are working towards similar goals.
Q. Why does Judy always start with a meditation?
A. This is a grounding prayer that helps everyone on the call to be totally present and ready to concentrate on what is important. It helps clear our minds and remind us that this time is sacred and our self-care is a priority.
Q. Is this woo-woo stuff?
A. Not necessarily, even though most humans are recognizing a need for some kind of spiritual acknowledgement in life. Judy has a strong background in business and non-profit work. She has been a life educator and written over 20 books. If you are interested in starting or expanding a small business, learning to be assertive at work, leadership, goal setting, writing a book, self publishing a memoir, gaining grants for a non-profit or any other specific intention, this is the place for targeted guidance.
Q. Is this a “safe” place to share?
A. Absolutely! The honorary title of “Auntie Artichoke” has been given to Judy because it indicates unconditional love and non-judgment. Part of the intake is a confidentiality contract and you do not have to share private information with the other members of a small group if you do not wish. On the forums you may choose to use a different user name. No one is allowed in the forums without a protected password.
Q. Will Judy facilitate every group?
A. Not always. Our software allows us to have up to 20 different groups going on during the week. The team members will get information on group courtesy and a sample agenda. Judy will move between groups as a participant and occasional facilitator. The mastermind groups create a synergy of purpose and a respect for all members.
Q. Why do I have to do personal coaching with Judy before I can join a mastermind group?
A. Because Judy will use her discernment and intuition to place like people and interests together.
Q. What if someone irritates me on the mastermind call, will Judy intervene?
A. No. If you can’t find a solution (and there are always at least five solutions for each situation) you can ask to be transferred to another group. Part of the maturity process is learning to set healthy personal boundaries and empowering yourself to solve problems.
Q. Can I be “kicked out” of a group?
A. Yes. Judy’s philosophy and intent is to build an international community of kind, thoughtful people who want respect for all. If you are disrespectful, use blame or shame on other members or disregard privacy rules, your membership will be ended. As you post on the forum and join discussion groups, you may resonate or even be repelled by a certain group or person. That is part of life, and respect for all is the underlying foundation.
Q. What if I don’t know what I want to do with the rest of my life?
A. You are very lucky and blessed to have been drawn here. This is the place to discover the real authentic person you were born to be. Judy has been there, done that and found a great way to discover hidden talents and buried dreams. She will empower you to find your destiny and set up a plan of action to achieve your goals.
Q. What if I don’t like it, can I have my money back?
A. It depends. If you are unhappy with your masterminding group, we will try to find you a group that resonates with you. If you are still unhappy, you can drop the monthly membership fee. If you are still unhappy, you are probably not a good candidate for change and growth.
If after the second coaching session you are not happy with Judy’s style or skill, we will refund the unused portion of the fee. Hopefully, we will have given you enough resources and tools to move forward on your own.
Bottom Line
Personal Empowerment Coaching, masterminding, and associating with kind, thoughtful people who have respect for all will make you a better person. The cold, hard truth is that if you had been able to accomplish all your dreams, you would not be reading this now.
Everyone needs and deserves warm, supportive people to walk beside them on the journey of life. You will not be empowered by Judy, or for Judy but with Judy. We are stepping out to a very synergistic relationship with each other.
This is your opportunity to invest in yourself and to re-discover your dreams and destiny.
It is your turn. Make the choice to do this for you, today.
